Chia Pudding Recipe

Chia pudding is a great breakfast for those trying to avoid gluten and grains, but still like the feel of sitting down for a bowl full of something for breakfast.
Chia seeds have huge nutritional benfits, which include providing high amounts of protein, fiber, omega 3, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, B vitamins, and antioxidants.

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup light coconut cream
• 1/3 cup chia seeds (black or white)
• 1 banana
• Scoop of protein powder (optional)
• A handful of frozen berries.

Instructions

• Blend coconut milk, banana, and protein powder together
• Add chia seeds, and blend slowly just to mix them in.
• Pour into a bowl
• Mix in frozen berries
• Put in the fridge for 30-45 minutes

 

The longer it’s left in the fridge, the more liquid the chia seeds will absorb, creating a thicker pudding.
Experiment with different fruits, add nuts and seeds, or try cacao to create a dessert
